Mariea Sharaf Anzum
I am an Electrical Engineering PhD student at Texas A&M University. I earned my bachelor of science from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Islamic University of Technology(IUT), located in Bangladesh. During undergraduate, I focused on designing and analyzing performance of various PCFs for sensing and communication applications. At present, I am researching the integration of artificial intelligence in radar sensors. My ultimate goal is to drive innovation in the fields of Electromagnetics and Microwave bringing beneficial impacts to global technologies. Outside academics, I enjoy reading books and traveling.
Zahid Kaya
I am currently a master's student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Texas A&M University. I earned my bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University. I am interested in cognitive radar, artificial intelligence, machine learning, communication, signal processing, RF, and microwaves. My academic background and research interests drive my commitment to exploring innovative solutions in the fields of radar technology, machine learning, AI, and communication systems. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of knowledge and contributing to advancements in technology.
Roman Venegas
Howdy! My name is Roman Venegas and I am a current electrical engineering Masters candidate at Texas A&M University. I am specializing in electromagnetics and microwaves with a thesis based around memory based computation for radar applications. Currently I am the Chair of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Student Branch Chapter at Texas A&M and Organizer for Project Connect 2025.
